The Parking Lot Sweeper’s Job:
- Start time is between 5am and 6am. Flexibility is needed.
- A typical shift can last 8-10 hours. Overtime is occasionally required.
- You will be using a backpack blower to remove debris from sidewalks and corners.
- You will safely change trash can liners at some lots.

- You will be driving our top of the line, industry standard sweeper trucks in peak condition.
- The fleet is regularly updated with brand new trucks.
- Cantel has an onsite shop with maintenance performed daily by knowledgeable and skilled mechanics.
Here’s what it takes to be a Parking Lot Sweeper:
- Must have a good driving record. No Alcohol related convictions within 10 years
- Class A, B or C valid driver’s license. No CDL Required!
- Must be at least 21 years old (car insurance requirement)
- Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen
- Ability to work independently and a positive attitude!

As Head Mechanic, you must know:
- Gas and Diesel Vehicles
- Small Engines
- Welding
- Hydraulics
- Auto Electric
- Fleet Vehicles
- Preventative Maintenance
- Organization
- Parts Ordering
As Head Mechanic, you must be able to:
- Work on Diesel engines/vehicles
- Have welding experience
- Have a clean driving record
- Lift objects that are 50+lbs
- Take a Pre-Employment drug test (Required)
- CDL is a plus, but not required!
